Context

Wisp.land is an earlier web and interface project built around a strong illustrated atmosphere. It belongs to a period when visual identity was the primary way I explored interactive product design.

My contribution

I brought together interface design, illustration and front-end implementation. The work was less about treating the browser as a document and more about composing a visual experience whose layout and behaviour belonged together.

Lasting relevance

The project remains useful context for my current work. My systems have become more complex, but the expectation that implementation should preserve a clear visual and interaction intent has not changed.

01 — Key contributions

Key contributions

  1. 01

    A designed atmosphere

Illustration, colour and interface composition worked together to give the web experience a recognisable visual identity.

  2. 02

    Visual intent implemented

Front-end work carried that identity into a functioning interface, connecting design decisions with their behaviour in the browser.
